KCD Munich - Platforms, Cloud Native and Communities
I had an amazing time at KCD Munich this week. KCDs are always fun because you get to see where the communities are, which topics are hot and you meet a lot of project maintainers. Kudos to the organizers who did an amazing job at having an amazing third edition of the conference.

Another DevBCN conference done! This year was special because the first KCD Barcelona happened. I started the KCD Track on
KubeCon EU 2024 🥳🤯
Loads of exciting initiatives at KubeCon:
- The Dapr project is getting more attention
- Application Development Working Group was kick-started
- Keptn and Argo collaborations ❤️
- Dagger is 🔥
- Cilium and eBPF have conquered the networking space
- Big projects are applying for graduation
Cloud-Native & OSS is thriving in Brazil
Last Saturday and Monday, I presented at two Brazilian events. The first edition of KCD Sao Paulo (sold out in less than an hour) hosted around 400 people, and a Sou Java meetup hosted by IFood with about 50 people.
2023/2024
Wow! What a year it has been! After an incredible 2022, I thought it would be a difficult year to top up, but oh my! This year was intense, but in a perfect way. I’ve traveled the world and met amazing people. I want to thank everyone who approached me to say hello, get a book copy, or share a hug.
